Meet Our Team

 Kristen is the Administrator for The Legacy Rehab & Care Center. She has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2011, however has been working for the organization in different capacities since 2006. Providing quality care to our communities has always been her priority. Kristen is very passionate about Bullhead’s rural community and the healthcare services provided. She works closely with The Legay Rehab & Care Center leadership team to provide quality care and services to those seeking skilled or long term care services in the Bullhead City area. Kristen enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

 Haley has always wanted to be in healthcare. She went on to earn her CNA certificate when she was 18 and worked at a skilled nursing facility in California and then moved to Bullhead City where she got her RN from MCC.  She then worked at the local hospital moving her way up to become the night house supervisor.  She then received her BSN from Grand Canyon University. Haley joined our team as the Director of Nursing in 2022. She has spent  her years working bedside with patients and working as a team. Her patients and residents are her biggest priority and in 2025 she became our Assistant Administrator. She has been blessed with the gift of nursing and caring for so many and strives for excellence each day. 

Summer began her career at The Legacy as a Rehab Tech in 2015 and progressed her career to Rehab Coordinator and then was promoted to Rehab Program Manager in 2022. Summer has been working in rehab for over ten years and recently went back to school to receive her RN license, she is currently working on her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Summer loves working with our residents during rehab and seeing the progress they make in order to safely return home. Summer is a mom of 4 boys and 2 fur-babies. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her kids and husband riding dirt bikes and watching movies.

 Jordan has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 2015 and has worked in many settings including Skilled Nursing, Hospital, Home Health, and Outpatient therapies giving Jordan a vast amounts of knowledge on a multitude of treatment techniques and working with a variety of diagnosis’s. Jordan is very passionate about offering top quality Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services to the rural communities of Bullhead City and Kingman in each of our facilities. What Jordan enjoys most about his job is seeing patients recover and return home with their loved ones. 

 Mindy has been part of The Legacy Rehab & Care Center team since June, bringing over 21 years of experience in the medical office field. She spent 19 years in California as an admitting representative in the ER as well as a referral coordinator and front office medical assistant.

 Mindy enjoys helping, listening, and connecting with people. She finds it especially rewarding to guide residents and their families through the admissions process.

Outside of work, Mindy loves family life with her husband children and dogs. She and her husband, high school sweethearts, enjoy camping in Glamis, boating, and bowling together as a family.

Jamie joined The Legacy Rehab & Care Center team in June, with a background in financial planning. Though new to the healthcare field, Jamie has a strong passion for supporting seniors. As Social Services Director, Jamie enjoys connecting with residents and ensuring they receive the best care while maintaining happiness and dignity. She finds it rewarding to build trust with residents and their families, helping them feel at ease and confident in the care provided. Jamie is happily married to her husband of 13.5 years, and together they are raising two boys and two dogs. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and going on adventures, creating lasting memories along the way.

Rowena started her journey in long term care when she was 19 by becoming a CNA.  She loved the hands-on care that she provided and knew this was the field that she wanted to be in.  After becoming an LVN in California, she moved to Bullhead City, AZ where she began her career at the Legacy Rehab & Care Center where she has held various roles before becoming QA Nurse. She is also continuing her education at MCC to obtain her RN. Rowena loves the people she works with as well as our residents and families.  Rowena even had her father in law here as a resident with us which only strengthened her belief in quality care. She  enjoys quality time with her family making memories together.

Nicole started out as a CNA The Legacy Rehab and Care Center in March of 2014 progressing to become our Resident Care Coordinator. Being in the nursing field has been Nicole’s only dream and only field she has ever worked. She loves working with the residents and loves guiding the CNA's to be the best they can be. She strives to make sure the residents receive the best possible care. Nicole is currently attending nursing school to become an RN and expand her career. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband. They enjoy being outdoors in any way; whether it be camping, dirt racing, off-roading or hunting. 

Steve originally moved to Bullhead City from California after his grandmother suffered a stroke. He was her caregiver until her passing which led him to the field of health care, which he had never considered before. Steve became a CNA and progressed to become an RN. Steve's experience has given him a broad, if not unique view of nursing and the provision of care. Working in MDS/Infection Prevention allows him to utilize critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills to affect a greater number of people.  Steve is a lifelong learner who enjoys learning new things, so in his off time he enjoys learning as well as at work. Steve also enjoys the outdoors to unwind.

 Mandy has been part of The Legacy family since August 2024, bringing over two decades of experience in bookkeeping and finance to her role. She’s spent the last two years in the skilled nursing world, where her eye for detail and persistence in managing claims have become a true asset. One of her favorite parts of the job? Getting those insurance claims paid, a victory that benefits both the team and the residents.

At home, Mandy enjoys a full house with two dogs, three cats, and her husband of 29 years. When she’s not keeping the business office running smoothly, you’ll likely find her reading a good book, crafting, crocheting, or canning something delicious.

Karrie has been a dedicated employee at The Legacy since 1998. She has worked in various roles with us, which include Housekeeping, CNA, Unit Clerk, Admissions, and now Medical Records. Karrie has always loved the facility and has had several family members reside in the facility which has given Legacy a special place in her heart. She loves the care and compassion she sees from our team everyday and takes pride in being part of it. During Karrie’s spare time, she enjoys her family time, a good nap, and traveling. Karrie loves long-term care and can’t picture doing anything different with her life. 

Courtney started off as an activity assistant in California were she absolutely loved it. Due to her parents starting an early retirement and her mom’s health, she decided to leave California and move to Arizona. Here she was lucky enough to find the job that she loves doing once again. She started off at The Legacy as an activity assistant and within 10 months she became the Activity Director. In May she is starting online schooling to get her Activity Director Certification. In her spare time, Courtney loves to be outdoors whether it’s on the water, hiking or going in Cave’s. She loves to travel and appreciates the little things in life
