I started this journey in long term care when I was 19 and became a CAN, which I loved the hands on for 14 years, I knew this was the field that I wanted to be in, it was like second nature, as I spent most of my life with my grandmother, and she was the one that influenced me the most in life. So I decided to continue in the field by becoming an LVN in CA, I stayed with the same company for another year as a nurse and then moved to Bullhead-City Az where I began my career at the Legacy Rehab & Care Center, I worked as a floor nurse and then seized the opportunity to grow within the company as an MDS nurse, QA nurse and then Administrative Nurse, this place has become my second home and I love the people I work with as well as our residents and families. When I’m not at work, I enjoy anything as long as it involves making memories with my family, We enjoy camping, weekly family dinners, and quality time together, long term care continues to be my passion and as long as I’m alive I will continue to make a difference in someone’s life.
